I moved to the US from Korea in 1969, when I was very little, with my parents. My father was in the Navy and stationed in Korea and met my mother; she was living in Korea though she was born and raised in Japan. My parents finally settled in California, where I lived until 2005, and my father eventually retired with the Navy.
Moving to the Pacific NW in 2005 was a big change for me, but one that I don’t regret. Being the daughter of a military man, I learned to be self reliant and strong so the change was a smooth transition. Having a multi cultural upbringing helped me learn to relate to a broader group of people and have a larger perspective about the world around me.
Growing up with a father in the military, I understand the nuances of military life and how diverse, and often times difficult, it can be. Working for a company that also understands these challenges and embraces them for the betterment of the veteran is something I am excited to be a part of.
I started in the mortgage industry in California in 1992. I have worked as a processor, funder, loan originator, and a mobile notary. My most exciting venture in this industry has always been the relationships that are developed with our customers. Anyone can be taught the paperwork side of it, but the rapport with customers is a harder skill to obtain and it is my favorite part.
I appreciate those men and women who risk their lives so that I can maintain my daily freedoms and it is my pleasure and honor to help any veteran who is interested in a VA loan. We are truly "Veterans Helping Veterans."
I know from personal experience that buying or refinancing a home can be very stressful and confusing. That’s why we have an experienced staff that will answer any and all questions to put you at ease. We make every effort to make our clients feel special and to understand their individual needs. One way we do that is by having a live person answer the phone. In today’s automated society, that’s something that rarely happens in business anymore.
